Elsősegély a magyar orvosi nyelvhez

A könyv egy-egy leckéje négy részből áll. Először az adott témakör szókincsével ismerkednek meg a tanulók, például a testrészek megnevezésével, a betegségek tüneteivel, egészségügyi dolgozók megnevezésével, orvosi utasításokkal. Ezt követi a témakörhöz kapcsolódó nyelvtan feldolgozása szemléletes nyelvtani táblázatok és példamondatok segítségével. A leckék harmadik része változatos feladatokon keresztül biztosítja az új szókincs és nyelvtan gyakorlását. A negyedik rész a lecke új szavait tartalmazó magyar–angol szólista.

A könyv utolsó leckéje rendhagyó módon a korábbi részek szókincsére és nyelvtanára épülő orvos-beteg, fogorvos-beteg és gyógyszerész-beteg párbeszédeket és hozzájuk kapcsolódó feladatokat tartalmaz. A könyv végén egy összesített magyar-angol szólista is található.

A tananyagot színes képek teszik még érdekesebbé és szemléletesebbé.

The aim of the course book First Aid for Medical Hungarian is to help students who study in the English program and acquire basic Hungarian for medical purposes. Each unit in the book is divided into four sections. First, the vocabulary of the unit is introduced, for example, the name of the body parts, the symptoms of diseases, the name of the health care workers, and the doctor’s instructions. It is followed by the elaboration of the grammar through the help of grammar charts and sample sentences. The third part of the unit ensures the practice of the new vocabulary and grammar with the help of various exercises. The fourth section contains the Hungarian–English vocabulary list. The last unit of the book does not follow the structure of the previous units. It covers doctor–patient, dentist–patient, and pharmacist–patient dialogues and exercises based on the vocabulary and grammar of the previous units. A complete Hungarian–English vocabulary list can be found at the end of the book. The colourful pictures of the book make the course material more interesting and entertaining.
